Today was going to be another jello post (I swear) but you know what? I made the fancy packet of jasmine agar that I bought in Thailand and it didn't set. I know! It was going to be milky jasmine with fresh honeydew melon four-ways but it really just looked like skim milk in some tins.
But! This TED talk by Dan Pallotta has been on my mind for weeks, all the more so after a series of simultaneously inspiring, frustrating, and affirming conversations this week with people who have been working in the "impact" space far long than I have.
This is a much-watch if you have ever made a donation to a philanthropic cause, worked in the social sector, or are at all concerned about the future of our communities (and after that keynote speech from Donald Trump last night, we all should be).
Trust me, it's worth every second of the eighteen minutes and fifty four seconds.
